Bolt won’t seek wild card entry in 100 meters at world championship next year

Usain Bolt has indicated that he will not seek a wild card entry in the 100 meters at next year’s world championships.
He reportedly said he would secure a spot via the Jamaican trials, and defer the wild card honor for the Moscow event to defending world 100m champion and training partner Yohan Blake.
Both Blake and Bolt are eligible for wild card entry consideration under new International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) rules.
The IAAF will however allow only one wild card per country per event.
