USA beats Reggae Boyz 1-0

USA footballers last night recovered from Friday’s loss to Jamaica's Reggae Boyz to win 1-0 in Ohio.
The goal was scored in the 54th minute by Hercules Gomes from a free kick.
Earlier, the Americans dominated the first half but never managed to score.
In the first 36 minutes of play, the US made seven shots at goal with three hitting either the upright or the crossbar.
The win for the Americans has now put them atop the group on goal difference even though they are tied on seven points with Guatemala and Jamaica.
Also playing last night, Guatemala won 1-0 against Antigua and Barbuda.
